The Libri Project is an exploration of identity through bookshelves.
Based in New Orleans, I photograph the bookshelves of everyday people and uncover fascinating stories as I interview them throughout the process.
Each piece begins with an overall display of the bookshelf. As the interview unfolds, the reader can begin to form an idea of the bookshelf owner's identity. This project is an exploration of both the participants and readers. As the participant reveals more, the reader imagines.
